Residential Growth

Sustainable Residential Growth for Clover

As a candidate for Clover Town Council, I am deeply concerned about the rapid pace of residential growth in our community and its impact on our quality of life.

Uncontrolled residential development, as seen in areas like Lake Wylie, has led to significant challenges, including overwhelming traffic congestion—where a three-mile drive can take an hour during peak times—and strained public resources, particularly our schools. Clover’s unique charm and tight-knit community culture are at risk if we allow unchecked growth to continue.

I advocate for throttling down residential growth to sustainable levels that prioritize the well-being of our residents and preserve the character of our town. By carefully managing development, we can protect our infrastructure, ensure our schools can accommodate students without overcrowding, and maintain the small-town charm that makes Clover special.

My commitment is to implement policies that balance growth with the needs of our community, ensuring that Clover remains a vibrant, livable, and culturally rich place for current and future residents.
